Alabama U.S. House election, 2006

This article discusses the 2006 elections for U.S. House in Alabama. Many of the Democratic challengers filed on the last day and don't have websites yet, but their contact information is available from the AL Democratic Party.

The primary will be on June 6, and the run-off on June 27. All of Alabama's incumbents were easily re-elected in November.

• Incumbent: Jo Bonner (R) (hw) (cw)
• Challenger: Vivian Sheffield Beckerle (D)
• Results: Bonner won 68-32%.
• Outlook: Bonner was first elected in 2002. Beckerle is the former Mobile County Treasurer.

• Incumbent: Terry Everett (R) (1992) (hw)
• Democratic challenger:
  • Charles Dean James (D) Recieved 71% of the Democratic primary vote to Morykwas' 29%.

• Outlook: Likely Republican retention (2004 won with 70-80%)
