Alhaji Dokubo-Asari is a prominent member of the Niger Delta Ijaw ethnic group and militant head of the Niger Delta People's Volunteer Force (NDPVF). He is seeking to create a new nation in the Niger delta region of Nigeria, by attacking oil infrastructure.
