Citizens for Global Solutions was formed with the reorganization of the World Federalist Association and Campaign for United Nations Reform. CUNRPAC was the PAC that corresponds to the renamed Citizens for Global Solutions PAC.

CUNRPAC first contributed to Congressional candidates in the 1998 election cycle.

CUNRPAC endorses incumbents based on their ratings. See http://www.globalsolutions.org/hill/rating_guide/rating_guide_home.html. The bar for endorsement is usually set low enough that at least some Republicans can get endorsed.

The other road to endorsement is providing a "good enough" answer to the candidate questionnaire, http://www.globalsolutions.org/elections/CQ/CQ_more.html. To get endorsed a candidate probably has to be willing to stick her/his neck out on either the International Criminal Court or creating a standing UN civilian police force.

Citizens for Global Solutions PAC, like other ideological PACs, gives a higher percentage of money to "maybe" and "unlikely" races than business and trade association PACs. 35-50% of contributions may go to candidates that don't win.

Disclosure: I was on CUNRPAC in '98, '00 & '02.
