Democrats are full of hatred

This meme runs the range from soft, such as "cheerleaders for failure" to hard, such as "liberals are in league with Osama bin Laden" and "man hating feminazis". Related to the "blame America" meme of left protesting.

Lines of counterattack.

For the soft memes, the simplest attack is to trope it back, tagging the right wing as being a cheerleader for failure. EG "You're the one rooting for finding WMD in Iraq."

For the hard memes there are two circumstances. In front of moderates, state that the attack is simply out of bounds for collegial discourse. Focus on how many members of the Republican Leadership are well known haters, avoid stereotypical anti-racist attacks, since these neither bother the right wing, nor do they convert the moderates. Moderates are blind to racism, because they think no serious person could seriously be a racist, and therefore they don't believe charges of racism without a "smoking cross". Instead focus on Rush, Coulter, Delay, Morris, Blunt and other prominent haters in the Republican hierarchy. "Yeah, all those French jokes are just dripping with love and tolerance."

When no moderates are present, and it is a strictly polarized attack, focus on the reality that most rabid right wingers are haters themselves, and they use hate as a means of motivating themselves. The line of attack is to up the ante with hard anti-right wing memes. This becomes unpleasant quickly, so be prepared to handle the adverse consequences of a right winger going nuclear with straight out lies about connections between Saddam and Al Qaeda etc.
