Overview

Donna Mercado Kim, a member of the Democratic Party, represents the 14th Senatorial District in the Hawaii State Senate of the Hawaii State Legislature. The 14th District includes the areas of Moanalua, Aiea, Fort Shafter, Kalihi Valley and Halawa Valley on the island of Oahu, in the state of Hawaii.

Donna Kim is a graduate of Farrington High School. She attended University of Hawai`i from 1970 to 1972, and has a BA degree from Washington State University which she recieved in 1974 and earned cum laude.

Kim is a regular on a radio program called Equal Time 7:00 am - 9:00 am LIVE weekdays Monday through Thursday on KHNR 650AM or 97.5FM radio. Hosted by Republican State Sen. Fred Hemmings, Kim provides the Democratic view to polical issues.

Kim has a poor to fair environmental voting record (see below).
