Sierra Club Hawaii Chapter

The Hawai'i Chapter of the Sierra Club is one of Hawai'i's major voices in environmental issues. The chapter has developed a comprehensive list policy issues from agricultural production to water resources. [1]
The Hawai'i Chapter has four local groups: Kaua'i group, Oahu group, Maui group and the Moku Loa group.
Every two years the Sierra Club rates members of the Hawaii State Legislature according to their votes on key evironmental bills or issues before the legislature. The latest Environmental Legislative Scorecard released in July 2006 is the fourth scorecard to be published online. (see below)
Jeffrey Mikulina, director of the Sierra Club's Hawai'i chapter has been an forceful environmental activist and effective spokesman and leader.
