Amir Peretz

From dKosopedia

Amir Peretz is an Israeli Labor Party politician and the current Minister of Defense.

According to Hebrew University professor Schlomo Avineri the relationship between Peretz and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is so poor that they are unable to control the security and intelligence services: "This is a government where the prime minister and defense minister don't really control their own people in the security services and don't feel strong enough to challenge them.
