Bob Hogue

Robert Charles "Bob" Hogue, a member of the Republican Party, represents the 24th Representative District in the Hawaii State Senate of the Hawaii State Legislature. The 24th House District includes the Kaneohe, Kaneohe MCAB, Kailua and Enchanted Lake areas of the island of Oahu, in the state of Hawaii.

A U.S. Senate candidate in the 2006 primary, Hogue won against challenger Quentin Kuhio Kawananakoa, but he lost the general election to Mazie Hirono.

Hogue has a poor environmental voting record (see Sierra Club Scorecard below). During the 2005 legislative session, Hogue, along with all the other republican senators, voted against bills that would prohibit Hawaii's landlords and employers from discriminating against gays, lesbians or transsexuals.
