Denny Rehberg

Denny Rehberg (R - Billings, Montana) was born October 5, 1955. Rehberg attended Billings West High School, Montana State University, and Washington State University.

In 1984, Rehberg was elected to the Montana House of Representatives, where he served three terms.

In July 1991, Rehberg was appointed Lieutenant Governor by Governor Stan Stephens. The following January when Stephens decided not to seek reelection, then Attorney General Marc Racicot and Rehberg teamed up to seek the state’s top offices. Rehberg was elected Lt. Governor in 1992 and served in that position until 1998.

He was elected to the state's At-Large U.S. House seat in 2000.
