Ralph Hudgens

Ralph T. Hudgens unsuccessfully ran for the United States Congress in 1988, 1992, and 1994 before winning a seat in the Georgia House of Representatives in 1996. He was elected to the State Senate in 2002. Hudgens is a conservative Republican.

He was a candidate in the special election for the open seat held by the late Charlie Norwood (R) in the 10th Congressional district, but later withdrew.
