Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi is Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). Safavi was listed in the December 12, 2006 UN Security Council Resolution 1737, asking that his assetsbe frozen because of alleged involvements in Iranian nuclear and ballistic missile programmes.
