Term:fair and balanced

From dKosopedia

The term "fair and balanced" is used as a tagline by Fox News.

In 2003, Fox News sued comedian Al Franken for copyright infringement, a common means of satire chill.

At issue was Franken's book, entitled Lies And the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right. Fox sought an injunction to halt distribution of the book. U.S District Judge Denny Chin dismissed the case, saying that the lawsuit was "wholly without merit, both factually and legally." That the term was in fact a generic and that to control generic terms was not possible using copyright law. There are however some ways to do this using trademarks and domain names.
