Category: Secretaries of the Treasury
John William Snow served as the United States Secretary of the Treasury from 2003 to 2006, under President George W. Bush. He had little, if any influence on the administration's policies; in fact, he was largely invisible. Previously, he had been the Chairman and CEO of CSX Corp., a major railroad and transportation company.
While Snow was Chairman of the Business Round Table 1994 through 1996, he was instrumental in supporting passage of the North American Free Trade Agreement.
