David M. Satterfield

From dKosopedia

David M. Satterfield is a 50 year old Middle East expert and United States diplomat accused in an August 4, 2005 indictment of giving classified information to Steven J. Rosen, a lobbyist for the American Israel Public Affairs Action Committee or AIPAC.

In addition to Rosen, others charged in the espionage investigation include AIPAC lobbyist Keith Weissman and prominent neo-conservative Defense Department official and Zionist Lawrence A. Franklin.

Satterfield was born in Baltimore, Maryland, educated at the University of Maryland and Georgetown University. He entered the Foreign Service in 1980 and served in Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Lebanon and Syria.

Concern exists that a neo-conservative clique of appointees in the White House, United States Department of Defense and the United States Department of State may have compromised the national security of the United States because their political loyalties to Israel take priority over those to the United States.
