Ephraim Sneh is the current Deputy Defense Minister of Israel.
On February 24, 2007 Sneh dismissed as "baseless" a report in the Daily Telegraph that the Isreali government had opened negotiations with the U.S. for a flight corridor over U.S. ocupied Iraq to bomb Iran: "This is baseless information. Maybe people like to divert (attention from) the need for immediate economic sanctions (with) stories about imminent Israeli action, which is not on the agenda." Source: David Stringer.
