Hi Fredfish
Yes I agree with your edit comment! This page is getting hard to edit. I removed a statement without any context. Maybe we should go over these replies and figure out a unified format. Having a convenient format will be useful in other contexts as well!CSTAR 20:29, 13 Oct 2004 (PDT)
Did I edit your Userpage? Sorry. :(
Yes, this page is changing too fast. Maybe we should put the reply section in another article such as Sinclair Broadcast Group Activism There are now so many edits that I don't know whether some crazy posting has been added.CSTAR 20:41, 13 Oct 2004 (PDT)
I just did a diff of the current state with an earlier (I think reliable) state, and all differences in factual statements appear to be legit. I was particularly concerned about the table of phone numbers and stations.
I am not sure about the reports. We need to sift them reducing them to a common format. Here is a possible format for each response:
- Name of Business: XYZ widget and software
- 'Contact person at company (Name, Email)
- Reporting person (Kos Handle)
- Statement (make it clear whether the statement is a quote or a paraphrase of reporting person.

That's correct Sinclair page is currently locked. Earlier today the pace of vandalism on the Sinclair article was relentless. A few other Kossians and myself couldn't keep up with reverts. Finally we had to get Centerfielder to lock it. As far as I know there are now just two people that can edit it: myself and CrackRabbit (both of us happened to be fending off the attacks at the time).CSTAR 18:47, 14 Oct 2004 (PDT)
Re names of advertisers who pull out: Unfortunately, these advertisers are now targets of freepers and of legal intimidation. Nonetheless no action on deleting names yet until some consenus emerges about what to do. CSTAR 20:19, 17 Oct 2004 (PDT)
Thanks for the Sinclair's sad journalistic history entry. I will put it in now.
I'm not sure what the status of the status of the broadcast is given the conflicting (and deceptive) noises from Sinclair. I continue to operate under the assumption that nothing has changed.
