Guillermo Gonzales

Guillermo Gonzales is a professor of Astronomy at Iowa State University. He supports the theory of Intelligent Design, and co-wrote the 2004 book, "The Privileged Planet: How Our Place in the Cosmos is Designed for Discovery." In the fall of 2005, more than 120 ISU faculty signed a petition renouncing Intelligent Design as illegitimate science. He was denied tenure in May 2007.
Gonzales is a senior fellow of the Discovery Institute.
