Jennifer Latheef

Jennifer Latheef is a imprisoned journalist and political dissident on the Maldives. Amnesty International has declared her a Prisoner of Conscience. She was convicted of "terrorism" for joining a protest in September 2003 against deaths in prison and political repression on October 18, 2003 and sentenced to ten years in prison.
