Not sure what to put here, so for now:

My name is John-Mark Gilhousen. I'm a 55-year-old clergyman, born and raised in Oregon. I have done basic grassroots work (always as a grunt, never a general) since the early 70's.

I live in the only red congressional district in my otherwise true-blue state, once represented by Al Ullman (D) back in the days when our aluminum plants were running and Reaganite union-busting hadn't taken hold yet. I'm ready and willing to do what I can to paint it blue again.
