Jo Ann Davis (R), was first elected to Congress in November of 2000, where she represented Virginia's 1st District. She died of breast cancer on October 4, 2007.
She served on the Armed Services, International Relations and Government Reform Committees. Chairs the House Goverment Reform Comittee's Subcommittee on Civil Service. Vice-Chair of the House International Relations Committee’s Subcommittee on Europe.
