Jodi Rell (R) is the Governor of Connecticut. Jodi Rell was sworn-in as the 87th Governor of Connecticut on July 1, 2004, after serving for 9 1/2 years as Lt. Gov. She took office after her predecessor, John G. Rowland, resigned because of federal corruption charges. She also served for ten years in the Connecticut State House, from 1984-1994. She represented district 107, and rose to become the minority leader.
She and husband Lou have two grown children, and live in Brookfield.
