Juanita Millender-McDonald

Juanita Millender-McDonald was a Democratic representative from the 37th district of California. She was first elected to Congress in a 1996 special election, and she served until her death on April 22, 2007.

She was a former teacher, and member of the California state assembly from 1993-1996. She had five children and several grandchildren.
