Judy Baar Topinka, (born January 16, 1944, Riverside, IL), was elected on November 8, 1994, as Illinois' State Treasurer. Topinka was reelected Treasurer in 1998 and in 2002. Topinka is a member of the Republican party. In 2006, Topinka ran for Governor, but lost to the incumbent Rod Blagojevich, see Illinois gubernatorial election, 2006.
