Kirkuk

From dKosopedia

Kirkuk is an oil rich city in Northern Iraq. It originally had large Turkmen and Kurdish populations, but under Saddam Hussein, transplanted Sunni Arabs took dominant positions in the city and locals with dipossessed of their homes. Claims of dispossessed locals to have their property restored to them are a political powderkeg in Iraq, and hearings on the individual claims have so far been delayed.
