League of United Latin American Citizens et al. v. Perry, Governor of Texas, et al.

From dKosopedia

League of United Latin American Citizens et al. v. Perry, Governor of Texas, et al. is a legal case that challenged the right of the Texas state legislature to redraw the boundaries of Congressional districts, except after a census (see 2003 Texas redistricting). By a 7-2 vote, the Supreme Court found that it is constitutional for states to re-apportion their electoral districts essentially at will.
