Famous Mishaps of George W. Bush

  • Choking On A Pretzel
    • On January 13, 2002, Bush lost consciousness while eating a pretzel and watching a football game in the White House. He fell off the couch and hit his head on the table, suffering numerous scrapes and bruises.
  • Falling Off a Segway
    • Celebrating the birthday of his father, Bush took a ride on the Segway scooter. The scooter uses some of the most sophisticated gyroscopes in the world to stay upright, and its makers promise it won't fall over. So, of course, Bush tumbled off on his first ride.
  • Dropping His Dog
    • On Saturday, August 30, 2003, Bush was visiting with members of the Waco Midway Little League Softball World Series championship team at TSTC Airfield in Waco, Texas when he accidentally dropped his dog.
  • Falling off His Bike
    • On Saturday, May 22, Bush was riding near his ranch in Crawford, Texas when he fell off his bike. He was scraped and bruised on his chin, upper lip, nose, right hand and both knees. Despite the White House spokeman's statement that it had been "raining a lot and the topsoil is loose," the Weather Channel reported that it hadn't rained in over a week in the area. To ensure that nobody questioned the President's manliness, the spokesman also noted that Bush "wasn't whistling show tunes."

July 6, 2005 Bush collides with a police officer and falls off his bike. [1]
