Montgomery County, Maryland

From dKosopedia

Montgomery County is a county in Maryland.

Official Idiocy

Montgomery County has its own Homeland Security Department, an unarmed force with a budget of $3.6 million and not nearly enough to do to justify its budget. On February 6, 2006 two of its officers walked into the Little Falls Library and began attempting to "police" what library patrons were viewing on computer terminals. They challenged a patron's internet usage and asked him to step outside but the patron was saved by a librarian who had the two officers escorted from the building by real police officers.
