- Dates: Primary - November 6, General - December 11, 2007.
- Comments: Bob Latta won the Republican primary by 44-40%, defeating Steve Buehrer. Buehrer was supported by the Club for Growth. Weirauch ran a strong campaign, and she forced the NRCC to spend $400,000, or 1/6th of its cash on hand, to defend this supposedly safe seat.
- Results: Latta won by 57-43%.
