Randall Roth

From dKosopedia

Randall Roth, a former law professor at the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson Law School, co-authored the Aug. 9, 1997, "Broken Trust" Star-Bulletin editorial with Samuel P. King, Gladys Brandt, Walter Heen and Monsignor Charles Kekumano. The essay accused the then Bishop Estate/Kamehameha Schools trustees of mismanagement of the Trust. An investigation followed that eventually led to a change of the entire board, and a management reorganization.

Roth and Samuel P. King co-authored Broken Trust: Greed, Mismanagement, And Political Manipulation at America's Largest Charitable Trust , a book published in 2006, about the Bishop Estate/Kamehameha Schools Board of Trustees and their mismanagement of the Estate.

Roth also co-edited with University of Hawaii economics professor James Mak the 2 volume, The Price of Paradise, each chapter questions a different aspect of economics and financial (and thus political) topics in Hawaii.

Roth was Gov. Linda Lingle's senior policy adviser in 2003, during her first year in office and is a member of the Republican Party.
