Rene Preval
From dKosopedia
Rene Preval was president of Haiti from 1996 to 2001 and candidate for president of Haiti in the 2006 election. Preval draws most of his support from the poor urban slums and rural areas where exiled President Jean-Bertrand Aristide was also strong. Aristide was driven from power by the Haitian political right.
