Ric Keller

From dKosopedia

Ric Keller (R) represents Florida's 8th District in Congress. He was first elected in 2000, and at the time, he signed a pledge that he would only serve for eight years. However, he now plans to break that pledge and campaign for re-election in 2008.

Keller is the author of "The Personal Responsibility in Food Consumption Act" a bill that passed the House of Representatives by an overwhelming, bi-partisan margin. The so-called 'cheeseburger bill' prohibits lawsuits by obese customers who blame restaurants, supermarkets, and grocery manufactures for their own overconsumption of food.
