Ron Klein

Ron Klein is a member of the U.S. House, where he represents Florida's 22nd district, see Florida U.S. House election, 2006. This district voted for Kerry in 2004, and the incumbent would probably had lost that year if his challenger had not had developed medical problems.
Ron was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 10, 1957. After graduating from Cleveland Heights High School in 1975, Ron attended The Ohio State University. In 1979, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, was admitted to Case Western Reserve University Law School and received his Juris Doctor in 1982. Ron married the former Dori Dragin in 1982, and together they moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 1985.
In 1992, Ron defeated a 10 year incumbent and was elected to the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 90. Ron was elected by the Democratic Senate Caucus as the Senate Democratic Leader for 2002-2004.
In addition to his public service, Ron is an active partner with the law firm of Sachs, Sax & Klein, P.A. in Boca Raton. Ron and his wife Dori reside in Boca Raton with their two children.
