Saint Kitts and Nevis

From dKosopedia

From 1713 to 1983, this was a British dependency. It has a population of under 60,000 (sources conflict with some reporting a 39,000 figure and others reporting a figure of about 57,000) and 102 square miles of territory, and survived a secession movement from Nevis in 1998. Despite its puny territory and population, this nation has a federal government and Nevis has its own "state" government. Tourism and off shore banking (i.e. asset protection/tax haven work) are both important industries.
