Talk:Slavery

From dKosopedia

This article does not provide grounds for policy and strategy planning.

Slavery is on the increase, world-wide. There are people currently enslaved in the United States even though the practice is illegal.

Slavery pays for those who are capable of capturing by force or guile, holding by force or intimidation, and selling other human being. Possibly there are psycho-sexual motives for the practice too. Power over others is a powerful motivation for some individuals.

Why is there so much tacit support for this institution? There is far less interest in the enslavement of women in the sex trade than there is interest in control of marijuana smoking.p0m 21:32, 7 April 2008 (PDT)
