Thomas Ravenel

Thomas Ravenel is the Treasurer of South Carolina. He is a wealthy real estate developer and far-right activist. Ravenel ran unsuccessfully for the Republican Senate nomination in 2004.

In June 2007, he was indicted on charges of conspiracy to possess cocaine with the intent distribute, and he was immediately suspended from his job as State Treasurer.
