- Memberships in the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, Subcommittee on Financial Institutions, Subcommittee on Securities and Investments,and the Senate Budget Committee lead us to believe that Allard understands money. In the 2002 race against Tom Strickland, Wayne collected more than one third of campaign financing from special interest PACs mainly the banking and insurance lobbys.

- To gut the Endangered Species Act Allard's attempt to gut the Endangered Species Act not only eliminates conservation measures on tens of millions of acres of critical habitat, it will also be extremely costly. It would require the public to pay developers, the oil and gas industry and other special-interest groups to avoid harming or killing endangered species. This is bad legislation that needs to be defeated.
- Allard tried to abolish the federal minimum wage by amending the Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2007.
