William B. Black Jr.

William B. Black Jr. is a linguist and Russia specialist, who spent 18 years at the NSA, eventually reaching the Senior Cryptologic Executive Service. After retiring from the NSA in 1997, he spent three years with the Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).

Since June 2000, he has been the Deputy Director of the National Security Agency.
