Yugoslavia

A former state in Southeastern Europe. Founded in the aftermath of World War I, Yugoslavia broke apart in a series of bloody wars in the 1990s. Its successors include Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Serbia and Montenegro.
