dKosopedia talk:About
From dKosopedia
dKosopedia is intimidating and strange (for those of us who are just getting the hang of online communities and blogs). Shouldn't this page be a bit more inviting and, well, explanatory? I'm learning about dKosopedia by mucking around, and I'm still a little lost, so some explanation here from a more knowledgeable person would be nice. --freedc
-Joshyelon 14:51, 8 Jun 2004 (PDT) Well, I can't say I'm a more knowledgeable person, I just dived in myself on the day the dKosopedia opened, and I have no experience with this software. But on the other hand, nobody seems to be complaining about my involvement, so I guess my contributions are OK. I'll go ahead and write this page.

On yet another topic, think it would be decent to add a disclaimer to the dKosopedia 'Log in' page that says basically the same thing I added on this page - that dKosopedia user/pass accounts are different than Daily Kos accounts - then we could remove the note from this page. Last note - is it possible to combine the logins without mucho drama, and is that even something we'd want to do? Probably not, I guess. Just a thought. Danke.
