Current TV

From dKosopedia

Al Gore's station Current TV went live in August, 2005. It caters to kids in their late teens and twenties. Al Gore originally intended the station to carry long news documentaries, but it now plays short "pods". It is intended to be an "interactive" channel. Current's biggest selling point is that viewers can send in their own videos, and, quite possibly, be paid and have their videos played on air. The station is not meant to be political in any way.
