Dick Mell

A Chicago Alderman for the 33rd Ward. Naturally, he's a Democrat. His son-in-law is Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. He and his daughter Deborah are both staunch proponents of Gay Marriage.

Mell is famous for standing on a table, during live tv coverage, to get Interim Mayor David Orr's attention during the contentious council meeting to choose a replacement for our late, much beloved Mayor Harold Washington.
