Michigan State University is a state university based in East Lansing, Michigan, near the state capital of Lansing.
The first land grant university in the United States, its enrollment is around 46,000. It boasts the second-largest campus in terms of land area in the world, second only to the University of Moscow in Russia.
Its sports teams are known as the Spartans, and the university colors are green and white.
