Counties

Should the counties be in order of population? Chadlupkes 08:53, 10 December 2007 (PST)

I'd vote no, and keep it alphabetical (by state, then by county). Order of population would work fine for a hardcore geography nerd like me. But I'm more concerned about this casual user who's just coming in asking "so what's the electoral history of my county," who probably doesn't have a clear sense of the population of his county, let alone where it is relative to other counties, and who'd then have to read through a long list of counties. (Plus, there's the whole question of what population do we use... 2000 census or 2006 ACS... and how often do we change the order based on population changes.)
