Authoritarian

From dKosopedia

Authoritarianism is an ideology that places great importance on respecting hierarchy. In the U.S. context it tends to be used to describe those who favor great Presidential power (e.g. to fight wars and appoint judges) with little judicial or Congressional limitation. It is also generally used to refer to those who favor weak protections for the accused and prisoners in the criminal justice system, as opposed to those who feel that protection of Civil Liberties is important. Authoritarianism places emphasis on putting the greater good over the rights of the individual and is also closely associated with military discipline.
