Mark Begich

Senator Mark Begich is mayor of Anchorage (one of the few cities in Alaska), and is the son of Nick Begich, an Alaskan congressman who vanished in 1972 while in a small plane flying over the state.

He is also the only Senator elected in a long time that lacks a college degree.
