Delaware
Most of the residents of Delaware live in greater Philadelphia. It is best known for its role as the official place of incorporation of more publically held corporations than any other state in the nation, largely as a result of its business oriented Chancery Court, its pro-management substantive corporate law, and historical accident (New Jersey had been well on its way to becoming a corporate center, but it didn't pan out).
The Democrats have won the past four gubernatorial elections and currently hold six of the nine statewide elected offices. The Democratic Party gains most of its votes from heavily-developed New Castle County, whereas the more rural Kent and Sussex Counties vote Republican.
To date, 12 citizens of Delaware have been killed in the War in Iraq.
