Podcasting
From dKosopedia
An Internet-based method of distributing time delayed radio-style programs to MP3 players. Named after the popular Apple iPod (http://www.apple.com/ipod). Former MTV "VeeJay" Adam Curry is often cited as the originator of the concept.
Podcasting allows politicians and bloggers to bypass the corporate media, offering unfiltered news and information to all interested individuals through low-cost distribution. The 2004 Democratic Vice Presidential candidate, Senator John Edwards, is among those who have tried Podcasting.
